Majówka este denumirea dată de polonezi pentru perioada cuprinsă între 1 și 3 mai, adică între Ziua Muncii și Ziua Primei Contituții a Poloniei. Aceste zile sunt sărbători naționale, fiind zile nelucratoare. Dacă se întamplă ca această perioadă să fie în preajma sfârșitului de săptămână, atunci multe persoane își vor lua concediu și în ziua de 2 mai, considerată ca fiind Ziua Drapelului. Astfel se creează o mini-vacanță de 5 zile.

We all remember about childhood, when we were playing with the other children or when we shared all with our friends.

For all of us, childhood is a magic period, in which we seemed to have more energy, the fruits were tastier and the grandma’s cakes were exceptionally. I remember when my grandma used to tell me stories at fireside, when it was so cold outside. All of these memories seem to be the pages of a book of fairy tales.

Thanks to their contribution in sustaining and developing the society, the whole world devotes a specific day to celebrate the mothers. I believe that parents should be celebrated every day by respecting them.

Almost in all world, people celebrate this specific day dedicated to the one who gave us birth, but in the day isn’t the same everywhere. But I think it isn’t so important that there isn’t an international day for it. More important is the fact that this event takes place in the whole world.

Cu toții ne aducem aminte de copilărie, de momentele în care ne jucam cu ceilalți copii sau împărțeam orice aveam cu prietenii noștrii.

Copilăria este o perioadă magică pentru noi toți. În această perioadă parcă aveam mai multă energie, fructele erau mai gustoase, iar prăjiturile bunicii erau de-a dreptul excepționale. Ca să nu mai vorbesc de poveștile la gura sobei pe care bunica obișnuia să mi le spună când era atât de ger afară. Parcă toate aceste amintiri ar fi paginile unei cărți de basme.

Datorită aportului lor în perpetuarea speciei umane, dar și rolu pe care îl ocupă în societate, lumea întreagă dedică o zi specifică în care mamele să fie sărbătorite așa cum se cuvine. Sunt de părere că părinții trebuiesc sărbătoriți în fiecare zi, prin a-i respecta și a le aduce cinstea cuvenită.

Aproape în lumea întreagă există date diferite de a sărbătorii acestă ființă dragă nouă tuturor, cea care ne-a dat viață, neexistând o zi internațională pentru acest eveniment. Cred totuși că asta e mai puțin important, atât timp cât există o zi dedicată mamelor.

3^rd May is the last of the three days dedicated for the event called, here in Poland as "Majówka" .

On this day Poles celebrate the adoption of the first Polish constitution, which is the first in Europe and second in the world after the constitution of Unites States. I think they are reasons to be proud and happy to celebrate it.

Ziua de 3 mai este ultima zi din cele trei dedicate evenimentului numit "Majówka” aici în Polonia.

În această zi polonezii sărbătoresc adoptarea primei constituții a națiuni, prima din Europa si a doua din lume, lucru cu care aceștia se mândresc.

For those who are patriotic, the colours of national flag are so important like the national anthem, emblem or history. The flag is a way to identify through which anyone can feel not only a simple citizen of that country, but even more, an active part of what his country means in the world.

For me and for other Romanians, the colours of national flag are sacred and I keep them deep in my soul, in the memory of my ancestors.

Pentru cei cu spirit patriotic, culorile drapelului național sunt atât de importante precum sunt imnul, stema, sau chiar istoria națională. Drapelul este un mod de identificareprin intermediul căruia orice patriot se va simți nu numai un simplu cetățean al țării respective, ci însuși parte activă la ceea ce înseamnă patria în lume.

Pentru mine, cât și pentru alți români, culorile drapelului României sunt sfinte și le păstrez adânc în sufletul meu, în amintirea strămoșilor mei.
